Official Results of WBSDS7 School Board Election

Williston, N.D., (June 23, 2025) – Williston Basin School District #7 held a special board meeting today to officially canvass the results of the June 12, 2025, regular school board election. The Board confirmed the election outcome and certified the official results, which aligned with the previously released unofficial totals.

The following candidates have been officially elected to the school board:

• Jeremy Brenner (At-Large)
• Brittany Kilgore (At-Large)
• Samuel Johnson (At-Large)
• Annette Sluder (Outside City Limits; write-in candidate)

The official total number of voters who cast ballots is 1,131 in person and 431 by absentee, for a combined total of 1,562 ballots.

The official vote count for each candidate is as follows:

At-Large (3 positions available):
Jeremy Brenner - 1173
Brittany Kilgore - 1112
Samuel Johnson - 870
Katie Zufelt - 610
Diane Schmidt - 312
David Rodriguez - 149

Outside City Limits (1 position available):
Annette Sluder - 974
Dennis Nehring - 441

The newly elected board members are completing New School Board Member Orientation today at the District Office, participating in a full day of sessions covering district operations and school board responsibilities. They will officially take the oath of office during a Special School Board Meeting on Thursday, June 26, at 12:00 PM.
