Current Boundary Concept Map DRAFT

Please note: This draft map, developed by RSP & Associates, is based on enrollment and residency data as well as community feedback from the October 2024 draft and is not final, with further changes expected based on ongoing input.

Intro

Prior to the 2021 merger that formed WBSD7, the previous two districts did not have specific school attendance boundaries.

The first formal elementary school boundary for WBSD7, the Missouri Ridge boundary, was established and implemented for the 2023/2024 school year.

New school boundaries, which are currently being developed, will take effect with the opening of Sloulin Elementary School in the 2026/2027 school year.

See below for more information and details on the boundary-setting process and for Community Meeting times and locations.

DRAFTING PROCESS

RSP & Associates created a Starting Concept Boundary Map Draft in October 2024 using their own data in regard to student proximity to buildings, capacity of buildings, and current student enrollments. A second Boundary Map Draft was released in January 2025, having been revised to reflect the feedback provided from the community, incorporating the following points.

Create more natural boundaries that make visual sense to community
Adjust boundaries to have a greater proximity to the school location
Enhance the longevity of the boundary knowing that capacity challenges may persist

See below for more information.
